Dr. Jana Simonds received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. She went on to complete her general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, in Boston and completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Houston.

Dr. Simonds is Board Certified in Surgery and has been a surgeon in Boston and the Merrimack Valley since 2015.  She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

In addition to English, Dr. Simonds is fluent in Slovak and Russian.

In her free time, Dr. Simonds enjoys entertaining friends, evenings at the beach, and traveling.
